📝 JDG announce roster for 2026

After acquiring Team CC, Chinese esports org JDG have announced their roster for the 2026 OWCS season. Former Team CC damage duo Li “Pineapple” Zhuo and Liu “Kaneki” Nian will return on DPS, while Li “Mewtwo” Xianyao and Zhou “Mmonk” Xiang make up the support line. Korean import Hwang “Belosrea” Gyu-tae will play tank.

Known for his Wrecking Ball and Winston, Belosrea is a veteran tank player with experience competing in the Chinese region. Last season, Belosrea played in a mixed Chinese-Korean roster with ROC Esports. ROC placed third in Stages 1 and 2 of OWCS China in 2025, behind Team CC and regional champion Once Again.

When Once Again announced their roster last week, the team assured fans on social media that their departing support players, Mmonk and Mew, would continue to compete in OWCS. After yet another Pokémon-themed name change from Mew, Mmonk, and the newly-named Mewtwo have officially joined JDG. Under Once Again, Mmonk and Mewtwo were champions of OWCS China and had their best international showing in the 2025 Champions Clash, where the team placed fourth.

All of Team CC’s players and staff have returned under the JDG banner, with the exception of their two tank players. Qiu "GA9A" Jiaxin, who moved to a coaching role towards the end of 2025, has not been signed to JDG, and Chen “SUNZO” Cheng has joined Once Again. Otherwise, former Team CC supports Cao “Farway2026” Jiale and Wu “Haoyoqian” Gengtuo have taken on management roles, with Farway2026 serving as General Manager. Zhang “LnlD” Shukun and Wang “Kama” Chao will continue to coach.

In 2025, Team CC consistently placed second in OWCS China behind Once Again. Now, JDG looks to continue its regional rivalry, with a strong roster that has a shot at becoming the new best team in China.
